How to be coolest mum and get rid of rubbish at the same time.

Every Christmas we get load of household rubbish, mostly boxes from presents. I hate them. Honestly. I wish i could buy toys without boxes or at least simple box, no wires, inner plastic and papers. But even dolls are in plastic box!

Tonight i was looking at one of them hoping it will dissapear 😀 No it didnt. Then kids asked to help make garage and i thought – garage – thats so simple, noooo! i cant make something so simple, it must at least look complicate. (no, i had no mulled vine, i dont drink during week :D:D:D )

Half an hour later with help of sissors and solitape box got second life as CARWASH. For washing brushes i used plastic shopping bag and wires (the same ones, what were used to hold toy in place).

Shoes you WILL love!

Oh, girls, this is insane! Its worst than yarn shop! Please, give your kids credit card to hide, before you open a link, couse its not like you will leave page NOT wanting anything. No, its not that kind of shop – there you will want ALL.

I just designed fabulous pumps i have been looking for months and months and ofcourse in shops you can get everything, but anything you REALY want.

Christmas spirit in our house

Christmas tree up and decorated, advent calendar on the wall, cards for cousins and granddad done and even my mulled-vine-maddness starting to get shape.

I think i need more mulled vine

after watching this.

We all want our kids the best. Thats why we send them to school, dont we? Im huge fan of homeschooling, but it works only with kids who ARE listening into their parents. Mine soaks up like sponges everything from outside, but almost nothing from inside – family.

p.s. found this web page amazingly great for theaching kids to read, mine loved!

But can we, even best of us replace hundreds of teachers our kids meet while in school? I cant. If there would be 72h in day, i still couldnt, cause first i would need to learn myself. And how different from teachers i would be then – cause i would be giving them my opinion/selection of whats important. But maybe im looking trough different prism, not the one they should.

Am i mad?

I did it again – started pullover, it looked really nice, beautiful pattern, hard enough and then… mulled vine, couple hours of sleep and im learnign double stich! Cause with all small treads at the back of my pullover (now ex pullover :D) i just wasnt satisfied. It wasnt perfect. For me. Am i gonna succeed? You will see after Christmas, cause its for present. Totally mad. I know.
